NEW YORK (AP) — A look at the 10 biggest volume gainers on New York Stock Exchange at the close of trading:

Artio Global Investors Inc. : Approximately 1,696,500 shares changed hands, a 541.7 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.16 or 3.7 percent to $4.51.

Buckeye Partners LP : Approximately 1,491,600 shares changed hands, a 398.3 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $1.55 or 2.4 percent to $62.20.

Colum ConcLCValStr : Approximately 1,300 shares changed hands, a 338.3 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.28 or 1.0 percent to $29.19.

Corporate Executive Board Co. : Approximately 873,800 shares changed hands, a 327.3 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.05 or .1 percent to $39.23.

Crawford Co. class A : Approximately 283,800 shares changed hands, a 477.9 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.67 or 14.7 percent to $3.88.
